Very friendly, no hard sell. Took the car out for a test drive with my son and loved it. Very understanding that I was going away on holiday and picking the car would be tricky but they sorted everything for me and delivered my car before I went away. My car was delivered fully valeted and some little details like some touch up paint and new batteries in the remotes added to great customer service. I have recently purchased my Mark 7 VW Golf GTI from JMC Stratford and WOW, I had a great experience purchasing this car from them.

Messaged the Facebook page to start requesting some more details about the car, Dan replied really quickly and provided me with the information I was requesting. We moved off Facebook to WhatsApp where I received a full walk around video of the car and received all the details of the service history.

Then spoke to Dan over the phone and agreed I wanted to go ahead with my purchase arranging to travel down to see the car in person and have a test drive.

I financed the car, I have never purchased anything on finance before, Dan was extremely helpful with helping me sort out my finance.

Unfortunately Dan was on holiday when I went down to view and test drive the car.

When I arrived the car was waiting for me right outside the showroom doors. Rhys and James let me take my time to look fully around the car to make sure I was happy with everything. Went out on a test drive with James. When I was out on the test drive I noticed on the middle screen one of the key batteries were almost flat. I asked James about this and he said he would change them both when we got back (which he did.)

I was very happy with the car so when I got back from the test drive I did all the paperwork and final payment.

I would 100% recommend JMC Stratford to anyone looking to buy a car.

I recently purchased a 2015 Audi A6 Allroad from this garage. Although I live some distance away, I was happy to go with them given the included warranty and testimonials. Rhys was very helpful; a decent part-exchange valuation range was agreed remotely with photos, and I was given the upper end of that once the staff had seen it physically. Rhys even posted something I'd inadvertently left in the car back to be without charge. However, the best test of any dealer is when things don't go to plan: within a few days of ownership, the vehicle developed an emissions fault. Rhys agreed without quibbling to help get it fixed and, once diagnosed as a failed NOx sensor by a garage local to me, he arranged the repair and made payment direct to my local garage. Could not fault them for aftercare - something that isn't always tested. Would definitely recommend JMC, and would buy from them again - despite living 130 miles away!

Honestly cant rate these guys high enough, I dealt with rhys and he was a pleasure to deal with even on the after sales experience.
I did have a few issues with the car that i thought great now i have to deal with this but unlike most other car dealers there was no hassle or arguments it was a case of they got it sorted at my earliest convenience. This means alot to me as I feel like most places nowadays just want to rip you off.

We saw the car online through Autotrader and lots of images were there showing the car in detail. After calling and speaking with Dan (amazing to deal with) we arranged a viewing and were also offered a video walk around of the car. On the day to view the car we introduced each other and were given plenty of time to look over it. No pressure, no heavy sales technic, just time to make our own minds up. We were then offered a test drive and an idea of where to drive to experience it. On return we, very easily, made our mind up to go ahead with the purchase. We traded our car in too and was offered a very competitive rate. The car also had a recall, that was resolved before collection and we also added some side steps (our own purchase) that Dan kindly arranged to install before collection. All in all an excellent service and experience, the car was everything described and photographed. We will be back and will recommend anyone that is looking. Thanks again Dan, the car is amazing.

5 Star Service and great price for our car!

I just wanted to say thank you to Rhys and JMC for selling our car.

We had a beautiful, cherished car in great condition, which we wanted to sell. Having looked at the usual car buying sites and feeling that the values quoted (before any haggling!) were low and did not reflect the cars condition, and being reluctant to sell it privately, we spoke to a few car dealers to see if they were interested.

Rhys offered us an attractive price to buy it outright, which was closer to what we were looking for, but also introduced us to the concept of Sale or Return, where we continue to own the car but JMC market it. If it sells at their target price we get the higher price that we had agreed in advance. In our case this was approximately 7.5% more than their cash price, which was great.

The car sold within a few days and we were delighted to have the pre-agreed amount paid into our account without any fuss or delay.

Thank you again Rhys and JMC for your service and professionalism, and if you have a nice car to sell then I would highly recommend that you consider speaking to these guys before you trade yours in.

I recently bought my 2015 BMW X5 Msport 40e Hybrid from JMC Stratford & I cannot fault their customer service - it has been excellent throughout. Rhys made a huge effort to ensure the car was ready for me to view & collect within a couple of days of my initial inquiry. He also kept me informed of all the updates during the preparations & this included detailed video & photos.
He went the extra mile in helping me to ensure that the car was in perfect condition to be taken home. He was quick to respond, picked me up from the train station, ordered & posted the charging cable & original mats which were missing from the car and was polite and helpful throughout.
The car developed an air bags suspension fault after a week but they paid my local BMW garage in full to rectify the issue straightaway without the need to use the warranty I got with the car.
I normally don't leave feedback but I think this dealership is the best I've dealt with over the years & I would definitely recommend JMC Stratford to anyone.

My son recently bought a Golf Gti from this garage . We drove 2 hours each way for the car . The guys at the garage were brilliant .No pressure at all and very helpful . Unfortunately the car had a couple of issues that only surfaced after a few wks. Luckily he was given a warranty with the car . I rang the garage to explain the issues . Thought I'd share my experience of JMC. Right from the start Dan was super helpful and courteous. No issues at all with sitting in the car, starting it up etc. and literally zero pressure to do anything after the event. Arranged a test drive for the next day (car was at the back of the show room) and after the standard copying of drivers license details Dan handed me the keys and said to take it for a decent drive......on my own. No baby sitting or anything like that.

After getting back I was having a look around the car and Dan came out to see how I'd got on. Offered for me to take it out again if I wanted to keep testing it. Even at this point there was zero pressure to buy and it ended up with me leaving to think things through. Long story short ended up going back and buying the car a week later. Car was presented immaculately, prepared with a new MOT and serviced before being handed over.

A couple of days after owning it I thought I had an issue with a snapped rear spring. Dan couldn't have been more helpful, assessed the photos and agreed it looked like there was an issue. Ordered in 2 new springs and upon closer inspection found there to be no fault. On a completely flat surface the suspension was fine so it seems that my driveway is on a slight slope. Regardless, JMC sent us on our way and even left for two new springs in the boot for me for peace of mind. What garage does this??? Put simply, if they have a car you're looking to buy then I'd recommend this garage, especially Dan 100% based on my experience.

I've just bought a 911 from Dan at JMC Stratford. Buying a car can be painful, but very occasionally going to a dealer is really worthwhile, and this was one of those times.
It's a pretty high mileage 2013 4S, which they had serviced and inspected. This revealed some significant wear to the rear discs (they'd already replaced the front pads) plus a few other items you're likely to find on a 9 year old car. Dan had all of these items rectified without being asked, which I thought was jolly fair.
He also sought new reg plates for me, even supplying the colour coded screws so they look good.
So I would recommend them. If you're looking for a prestige sports car, they know what they're doing.

After looking for a long time for a suitable car, I finally found one with JMC. From the get go, the service we received from Dan was 5*, we live over 200 miles away so we had to be sure we weren't wasting our time. He sent us thorough videos of the car, answered all of my questions straight away and was totally transparent with his answers. There were a few things I wanted looked at (cosmetic) and he sorted these out straight away. We drove down to the garage and we received the same standard of service face to face. Could not recommend the team at JMC highly enough. After a couple of weeks of looking about at other local garages & a main dealer, I found & purchased my LR Discovery from JMC. Fantastic customer service & an overall enjoyable buying experience. Smart showroom (containing even smarter cars!), a welcoming atmosphere, & great coffee too! I dealt with Rhys, who was friendly, professional & knowledgeable. He answered all my questions & happily dealt with all my requests (big & small) in a professional & efficient manner. He had plenty of time for me, & arranged a test drive with little notice. I found there to be ZERO pressure put on me to buy, & no pushy sales tactics, unlike other places I'd been to. The car was prepared for collection to a high standard, including a 120+ check done resulting in some work (non-urgent brake pad & disc replacement) being identified & done by JMC to ensure the car was in top mechanical condition when it left their hands. A 6mth warranty is provided as standard which I decided to upgrade at time of purchase (again, no salesman pressure applied!) Compared to other dealers, the warranty offered via JMC is a good price & level. A full valet was also carried out by the team including a full body mop, & the vehicle was presented beautifully at collection.

The day after the purchase unfortunately I found an issue with the sensors which wasn't noticed at point of sale. HOWEVER, these things can happen & a phone call to Rhys saw this resolved without any stress "“ the car was collected promptly from my workplace, JMC provided me with a courtesy car whilst my car was being sorted, & Rhys kept me up to date with progress. The issue was resolved in great time & although I appreciate that having to send a car you've just bought back in isn't ideal, due to this experience I feel extremely confident in saying the company's aftercare is also A*. They even rewashed it for me which is very much appreciated when you live on a dusty farm!

Thanks again for all your help & time, I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone. JMC market themselves as 'specialists' in sports and prestigious vehicles, & they most certainly are that.

Cannot recommend these guys highly enough and particularly our salesman Ryce, who is a great guy. Really nice showroom, no high pressure sales tactics. Wanted a test drive and was expecting to be chaperoned but Rhys just put the trade plate in and me, my wife and little boy (we even put his child seat in with the the isofix) went off for a test drive. No pressure at all upon return apart from a casual "˜how did you find it'.

The price was already good, around what Parker's recommend for the same car from an independent dealer but with no options and the car has lots of options making it a good deal - I managed to haggle them down a little too which was nice. Reassuring that the car has gone through rigorous checks and they guarantee to fix anything that comes up as an advisory item on the fresh MOT they put it through as standard.

We did the deal and then a few days later the car was ready for us to pick up and we absolutely love it. The whole process was very easy and so refreshing.

I usually buy private because I hate car salesmen (I'm a career salesperson myself) but these guys were great. Also dealt with James (the owner) on the phone to organise getting it picked up by my wife as I was away with work and he was also great - advising on how to go about getting our private plate in the car amongst other things.

Don't usually do reviews but feel these guys deserve it. Just wish I was leaving this review for the beautiful Porsche 911 my little boy wanted me to buy instead of the 3 series!
