What is covered?
The following components are covered against Mechanical Breakdown (as defined elsewhere in this document) of those items listed below.
Our platinum warranty can be taken out for an additional cost which is for 12 months 12,000 miles
Engine
All major internal moving parts of the cylinder block including; Big end bearings, crankshaft. camshaft, pistons, connecting rods, balance shafts, gears, oil pump, variable camshaft timing assembly (Vanos), chains, sprockets, tensioners and including the cylinder head, engine block and liners (but excluding; burnt out valves and valve seats).
Transmission
Manual - gears, syncromesh hubs. shafts, bearings and selector folks, transfer box. Automatic - Gears. internal clutches, syncromesh hubs, shafts, bearings and bands, transfer box, torque converter.
Clutch
All components incluidng pressure plate. friction plate (excludes worn out facing material). ring gear, release bearing, master cylinder, slave cylinder, fork lever, clutch pedal and cable.
Turbo
Turbocharger or supercharger, intercooler and wastgate devices up to 7yrs or 80.000 miles.
Differential
All components including crown wheel and pinion and all other internal mechanical moving Parts.
Driveline
All components including drive shafts, prop-shafts, centre bearings, constant velocity joints (excluding rubber boots), universal joints and wheel bearings (excluding wear).
Brakes
All components including servo unit, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake calipers, vacuum pump, brake pedal. Excluding friction items and items subject to periodic maintainance and replacement.
Steering
All components inclduing, power steering rack and pinion, power steering box, pressure pipes. idler box, hydraulic and electrical power steering pump, reservoir, steering column joints and bearings, track rod ends (excluding wear).
Suspension
All components including coil springs, pneumatic air springs, shock absorbers, ride height actuators and regulator valves, track control arms and linkages, suspension pump, ball and swivel joints. Excludes bushes.
Cooling System
All components including radiator. engine oil cooler, water pump, cooling fan motor. cooling fan coupling, radiator fan motor, engine temperature sensor, engine temperature gauge. thermostat and thermostat housing.
Heating / Ventilation
All components including heater matrix and heater fan motor, heaterbox. vents controls,
Electrics
All components including Starter motor. alternator, voltage regulator, ignition coil, sensors. electronic ignition amplifier, relays and switches. electric windows regulators and motors. front and rear windscreen wiper motors and washer motors electric window motors, sunroof and cabriolet motors, cruise control unit, headlamp motors, horn, multi function indicator stalk switch, alarm control unit and siren
Fuel System
All components including Lift pump. fuel pump, injection pump, injector, fuel level sender unit, throttle body, throttle potentiometer, airflow meter/ air flow sensor
Air Conditioning
All components including air condtioning condensor, compressor, receiver/ evaporator high pressure pipes (excluding hoses).
Locks
All components including central locking solenoids, handles, barrells and catches (excluding damage).
Seals/Gaskets
All components including cylinder head gaskets, engine and gearbox oil seals causing a major oil leak and require immediate replacement. where removal of the unit is essential (excludes worn seals collars and shafts).
Casings
Casings are covered if they have been damage by any of the listed parts
Control Units / Wiring
All components including ECU. REC. UEC. solid state control units and wiring looms/resistance circuits (excludes water damage. corroded or chewed wiring).
Exclusions
Items which require replacement as a result of damage either accidental or reckless, items requiring replacement as a result of wear, aftermarket items/ non manufacturer approved items/software, maintainance items including but not limited to filters, plugs, batteries, exhausts, pelts, tyres and fluids.
Vehicle Hire
In the event of a valid claim and provided the manufacturers repair time is in excess of 8 working hours, a maximum of £45 per day inclusive working hou of V.A.T but exclusive of fuel and insurance may be claimed for a maximum of 7 days from the time the repairs are started provided prior approval has been obtained from WARRANTIES 2000.
Recovery
In the event of a valid claim a maximum of £60 per claim inclusive of V.A.T will be reimbursed.
European Use
The limits of the warranty are extended to cover the vehicle whilst outside of the U.K but within the E.U for a period of not more than 60 days in any 12 month period
Renewal
The warranty is renewable subject to the approval of WARRANTIES 2000.
Warranties2000 Flexi-Gold Cover:
What is covered?
We put our standard Silver warranty on every car we sell, which is for 6 months or 6,000 miles.
The following components are covered against Mechanical Breakdown (as defined elsewhere in this document) of those items listed below. Please note that parts not listed are specifically excluded.
Engine
Big end bearings, con rods, crankshaft, camshaft, cam followers, cylinder bores, cylinder head (excluding cracks), distributor drive, flywheel, main bearings, inlet valves, exhaust valves, valve guides, pistons and rings, tappet gear, timing gears, chains, starter ring gear, oil pump, gudgeon pins, small end bearings valve springs, valve collets, rocker shafts, all internal bushings. Excluding lubricants/filter elements.
Gearbox
Gears, synchromesh hubs, selectors, shafts, input shaft, layshaft, mainshaft, reverse idler gear, reverse idler shaft, selector shafts and selector forks, bearings and bushes. Excluding any external linkages.
Automatic Transmission
Gears, clutches, brake bands, valve block, oil pump, drive plate, pinion carrier, sun gear, reverse sun gear, internal shafts, unidirectional crutch. bearings and bushes, Excluding external linkages, adjustments and electrics.
Overdrive
Gears, shafts, bearings and bushes. Excluding external linkages. adjustments and electrics.
Clutch
Clutch plate, clutch cover, thrust bearing and or release bearing, clutch fork and pivot, master cylinder, slave cylinder. Excluding external linkages and burnt out parts, Limited to one clutch repair during the policy period.
Prop Shaft
Propshaft including universal joints and bearings.
Casings
Casings are covered if they have been damaged by any of the listed parts.
Differential
Crown wheel and pinion, gears, shafts, bearings and bushes, planet gears, planet carriers, thrust washers.
Torque Converter
Casings, impeller, blades, master splines and drive.
Drive Shafts
Half shafts, front and rear wheel external drive shafts, universal joints, constant velocity joints and couplings, excluding rubber boots.
Suspension
Coil springs, leaf springs and wishbones.
Steering
Rack and pinion, steering box idler box, power steering unit, pump and pressure pipes, reservoir.
Cooler System
Water pump, thermostat and head gasket. All other parts and damage caused by overheating, frost, or as a result of lack of anti-freeze are excluded.
Fuel System
Carburettor, fuel pump and injector pump, jets, needles, valves and floats.
Electrics
Starter motor, alternator, regulator, wiper motor (front & rear), headlamp wiper motor, electronic ignition module, electric sunroof motor, electric window motors, central locking solenoids and heater fan motor.
Braking Systems
Servo unit, master cylinder and brake callipers including seals and pistons.

Vehicle Hire
In the event of a valid claim and provided the manufacturer's repair time is more than 8 working hours, a maximum of £45 per day inclusive of V.A.T but exclusive of fuel and insurance may be claimed for a maximum of 7 days from the time the repairs are started provided prior approval has been obtained from Warranties 2000.
